MySpace India Officially Launches

 

MySpace India, which has been operating since January and now claims half a million users, was officially launched April 17 in Mumbai.The launch will be celebrated first in Mumbai with a rock concert event and party on April 17 at the Bandra’s Land's End Amphitheater and then in Bangalore with a MySpace Developer Platform workshop on April 21.

MySpace India has allied with Star TV to create an original network television program called "Campus Star" that will also feature on Channel V. The new show, currently airing on television in India, is a nationwide college talent competition featuring celebrity judges and the voting MySpace audience.
