FreeOCR v2.4
FreeOCR is a totally free Scan and OCR program it very accurate and uses the open source Tesseract OCR Engine. It includes a Windows installer and It is very simple to use and supports multi-page tiff's, fax documents as well as most image types including compressed Tiff's. The extracted text can be edited and exported to your word processor.
